Loads of xbox 360 owners have upgraded to an xbox 360 elite, or their old one RROD’d and got a new xbox, but don’t have a memory card or the Data Migration Kit (Which IS freely available tho). For the first time in 3 and a half year my xbox has the RROD.
It had the RROD past saturday (4th of july 2009) since it was out of warranty I tried the Towel Trick and it did work, it’s still working so I can verify the Towel Trick works. Atleast for me it’s working for 4 days now. I’ll see how long it will work and if it get the RROD again I’ll get a Elite or Pro for the HDMI (still have one of the release xbox’s)
And I’ll update the post when it fails again.
UPDATE: Xbox 360 died for good. Ordered my new elite, it should arive tomorow
